A very small, very haunted bakery

Cadonuts

Hand-twisted, cauldron-fried, and glazed under a waning moon. Every batch is baked between midnight and market open — whichever comes first.

Fresh every dusk · No two batches alike · Sprinkled with things best not asked about · Fresh every dusk

Baked by candlelight since who-knows-when

Cadonuts started as a single cauldron and a family recipe nobody quite remembers writing down. These days the ovens still glow orange long after the rest of town has gone dark, and the smell of cinnamon and something faintly otherworldly drifts down the street.

We proof our dough slowly, fry it low, and glaze it while it's still warm enough to fog the window.

What the Neighborhood Says

"I came in for a coffee and left with four donuts and a mild sense of déjà vu. Ten out of ten."
— a regular, probably
"The Black Cat Cruller has ruined every other donut for me. Cannot recommend enough."
— someone who visits nightly
"There's a draft near the counter that always smells like clove. It's charming, actually."
— local skeptic, converted
